12 DIYs of Christmas ~ Day 1 ~ DIY Initial Coasters

Hi lovelies!  You may remember last year's 12 DIYs of Christmas series I did, in which I primarily focused on decor.  Well this year I decided to focus on affordable, easy to make gifts!  First up are these adorable initial coasters; I made a pair and gave them to my boyfriend for Thanksgiving, but these are such an easy gift to make and would be great as a last minute hostess gift or as a little special something for anyone!  {Steps after the break}

Stencils ~ c/o Plaid Crafts
Cork Coasters ~ From an old WhimseyBox
Paint Marker ~ From a new WhimseyBox
** Note: You may be able to find these pre-cut cork circles at your craft store, you can always purchase cork sheets, trace a circle and cut out.

Use painters tape to tape your stencil to the coaster.

Use the paint marker to fill in the stencil.

Lift the stencil off and let dry.  That's it!

I made a set and tied them up with a pretty ribbon.  These took maybe 5 minutes total to make, so easy!  Make sure to check back daily!

{Did you enter my GIVEAWAY?}
