Spiked Cherry Sprite Drink Recipe

Hi lovelies!  As you may or may not know, I'm such a fruity-drink lover.  I'm not a fan of wine/champagne at all, and love beer, but loooove my fruity drinks.  So I decided I'd start sharing some of my favorite recipes with you.  Today I'm sharing my Spiked Cherry Sprite drink.  It's super easy, *almost* like a Dirty Shirley (which may be coming up next week), but not.  Best of all, it is the perfect I-want-to-drink-something-fruity-that-doesn't-taste-like-alcohol drink.  Watch out though, or it will creep up on you!  *SnS advises you to please drink responsibly*   Get out the drink umbrellas, it's totally acceptable here!  {Click to keep reading!}

You'll need:

  • Cherry vodka
  • Sprite
  • Grenadine
  • Pint glass
  • Shot glass
  • Ice
  • Maraschino cherries ~ optional, for garnish

Fill the glass about 3/4 full with ice, and pour a shot of cherry vodka.  Drink it, then pour another but add it to the glass this time.

Just to be clear, you've got one shot in your belly and one in your glass.

Fill the glass *nearly* full with sprite, and pour about 3/4 of a shot glass full of grenadine.

Add the grenadine to your glass and stir with a straw.  Spear a few cherries on a drink umbrella, and you're good to go!

I love how easy this is to make and how yummy it is.  These are a great weeknight drink for me, in that I only have one and am done.

Tried this?  Loved it?  Let me know!  Tag your inspired creation with #SnSDIY so I can see what you're making!
