My September Julep Maven Bombshell Box ~ Unwrapped

Hi lovelies!  I just received my September Julep Maven box yesterday and can't wait to share it with you!    If you're not familiar with the Julep Maven box, you take a quiz to determine your profile, and for $19.99 a month, you get nail polish (and beauty products!) from the higher end Julep brand (sold at Sephora), with a retail value of at least double (usually more than that!) {the polishes alone retail for $14 each}. If you haven't, click on one of my links and sign up! And right now, sign up and enter promo code FREEBOX to get your first box for free, just pay $3.99 shipping. The best part is that they show you what you'll be getting each month, so you have a 5 day window to either switch to a different profile (there's 5!) or skip the month altogether and not be charged. Genius! {Click to keep reading!}

I chose the 'Bombshell' profile this month, because I really liked the two colors, but I also wanted to try this face cleansing oil!  I tried it right away and it is amazing!  You apply it with dry hands to dry skin, rub it in, and then rinse it off with warm water.  It smells so fresh and invigorating and it rinses clean, no oily residue at all.  This will definitely be thrown in with my skin care regimen (oddly enough, I rotate between 4 different face washes) because it works so well and really gets deep into my pores.

I used all three of my add-on slots this month (more on the rest in a bit!), and this was one of them.  I was certainly intrigued by this Konjac Sponge for your face so I had to try it. I used it to gently exfoliate after I washed my face and love how well it works.  It is made with skin clarifying charcoal and can be used with or without cleanser.  It also comes with a little suction cup hook to hang it from (it's on my mirror!).  I definitely recommend this since it's so gentle you can use it everyday!

Now these two colors were the ones included in the 'Bombshell' Maven box.  The gorgeous golden, crimson microglitter is Karmen, and the creamy gray is Daria.  I think these are two absolute must have colors for fall and they will certainly be in heavy rotation!

These were my other two add-ons.  On the left we have this gorgeous chocolate microglitter named Candace, and on the right is this duochrome (purple/green) holographic shimmer called Reece.  Now these are with a flash so you'll see Reece as more purple...

Here we are without the flash!  Reece (on the right) is barely recognizable now!  You can definitely tell she's a duochrome, but you can also see the holographic microglitter too!  Such a gorgeous color amiright?

Finally, the little card had one of my fave quotes on it so I couldn't resist sharing with you :)

What was in your Maven box?
