DIY ~ Glitter Coasters

Hi lovelies!  I haven't posted a DIY in a little bit, but you're in luck because I have a ton coming your way, including some amazing pieces to make sure your holiday table is picture perfect!  Today's DIY is loosely inspired by these Kate Spade Glitter Coasters.  But my version will cost you only a dollar... and you can make four sets!  Intrigued?  {Click for the how-to!}

You'll need:

  • Glitter foam sheets (I found this pack in the craft aisle at the dollar store!)
  • Round shape to trace (the lid from a Bath & Body Works candle is the perfect size!)
  • Pen
  • Scissors

How awesome are the four colors included?  So perfect for this project!

On the non-glittered side, trace two circles.  You will be able to do two coasters per sheet, so for eight sheets you can make four sets of four coasters!

Cut out your shapes you just traced.

That's it!  So sparkly and fun right?

I wrapped a set in some silver eyelash yarn, and they'll make the perfect little gift.  Grab a pack of these foam sheets (for only $1!!!) and make four sets to give out as hostess gifts or just as a last minute quick gift for someone (don't you feel horrible when someone has one for you and you have nothing for them?)  So easy, so fun, and so sparkly!

  1. fun! what a great trick using those foam sheets. I'm always afraid of the mess loose glitter can make! ; )
