DIY Guess Inspired Chain Accent Metallic Belt

Hi lovelies!  Hope you had a great weekend!  I'm back at it, with a bunch more DIYs for you this week, maybe I'll even do a week's worth again?  The above inspiration I tore out of a Guess ad in a magazine, knowing I could easily do the belt (how fabulous are those bracelets? F21 has some similar ones!) {Steps after the jump!}

You'll need:
* Metallic belt (I got mine at the thrift store)
* Jewelry pliers
* Chain
* 2 large jump rings

Figure out how long you want your chain to hang down (I picked 3") and double it (6").  Cut your chain to that length.

Take a large jump ring and wiggle it through the woven part on the farthest left of the belt, on the back.  Attach one end of your chain, and close the jump ring.

Do the same about 2" over.

Here's what it should look like.

And you're done!  A simple, 5 minute update to a belt!

This is such a fun look and would look especially great over a layered cardigan.  Can't wait!

xx
