Hi lovelies! This DIY I had originally intended to go up before the holidays, but the hustle and bustle prevented me from doing so. These earrings are so fun and easy to make, I made pairs for my bf's sisters! While I had all the supplies on hand, they are extremely easy to find/order should you need to do so, and with the leftovers you'll be able to put them to good use! {How-to after the break!}

M&J Trimming ~ Project DIY #MJProjectDIY
Hi lovelies! As I'm sure you know, I *love* M&J Trimming. I consider it my Mecca, although I've never been, I do hope to make a pilgrimage there one day! (Anyone want to sponsor that trip? LOL!) I was so excited to take part in the M&J Trimming Blogger Challenge recently, and of course was so stoked to hear about its launching of a monthly subscription box - Project DIY. For $30 a month, you'll receive the supplies and tutorials to create 2-3 accessories inspired by the runway and current trends! All the projects are created by a super talented team of designers at M&J Trimming. I was lucky enough to receive the press kit for the inaugural box, themed 'Autumn in New York'. {Click to keep reading!}

Smart n Snazzy's Part of the 3rd Annual M&J Trimming Blogger Challenge!
Hi lovelies! I've got some exciting news... I'm participating in M&J Trimming's 3rd Annual Blogger Challenge! YAY! When M&J Trimming contacted me to ask if I was interested in participating, I was in shock! I mean, it's the best store on the planet for DIY supplies, but also the past participant are bloggers I've looked up to for years and have inspired me to start blogging.
I was sent the above box of goodies to create projects with, and OCD me actually used all of the supplies! Now when I found out the other 6 bloggers participating, I was so humbled and flattered and actually felt like I didn't belong amongst them. I mean, they're DIY powerhouses, imho. Seriously, to be included among the likes of Chic Steals, Glitter n Glue, Swellmayde, Studs and Pearls, Thanks I Made It, and Trinkets in Bloom is the biggest honor I could imagine.
Check out M&J Trimming's intro to all the bloggers participating in the challenge, and show me some love!
So, my lovelies, please be sure to check out M&J Trimming's blog tomorrow, where my seven (7!) pieces I created will be featured along with the full tutorials!

DIY ~ Emerald Bling Sailor's Knot Bracelet
Hi lovelies! Maybe it's the New Englander in me, but there's something about these sailor's knot bracelets that I just love, it evokes feelings of summer in me just looking at it. But being an adult, they just seem too plain for me now. It wasn't until I spied these amazing neon gems that I knew what I wanted to do. {Click for the how-to!}

DIY Nautical Hurricane Candle Holder
Hi lovelies! I've been wanting to make this candle holder since I first saw the Nate Berkus for Target ones. I instantly fell in love with it, but knew I could create the same thing for much less money.
You'll need:
- A cylinder glass vase (got mine from the dollar store!)
- Some rope (this is from Home Depot)
- Some woven cotton trim, used for making belts (this is from the trims section at Joann's)
- Two nailhead studs with prongs (these I used are old ones from M&J Trimming, and have a nautical feel to them)
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors

DIY ~ Joomi Lim Inspired Spiked Necklace
Happy Tuesday, lovelies! Today's DIY is inspired by this gorgeous Joomi Lim spiked necklace. It's stunning, isn't it? But it's a bit too expensive for my liking. So, I raided my supplies and found I had a similar chain to use, and ordered the studs from M&J Trimming. {How to after the jump}
