My July For The Makers Box ~ Unwrapped

Hi lovelies! Today I'm sharing my July For The Makers box with you. If you're not familiar, For The Makers comes up with 4 amazing, original designed projects and sends you all the supplies you'll need. Now that's a bit generic. They are able to source some of the most incredible materials you've ever seen. We're talking high quality, vintage, stuff that you can't get at a local craft store. The projects range from jewelry to sewing and lots in between. There's always 4 projects that form a cohesive, mini-collection based on that month's theme.  {Click to keep reading!}

This month's collection was called Makena and featured amazing, tribal-inspired designs.  These are all of the supplies!  I had so much fun with this collection and even decided to do some embroidery on the eye pillow using some embroidery thread I had on hand.

I thought all four projects were really fun, easy, and wearable / usable.  The eye pillow is my favorite; I like to lay down in bed and place it over my eyes for 10-15 minutes before going to bed.  It's soooo relaxing!  The earrings are statements, I've been wearing them most with a white tee or tank to add some color and to play up the boho vibe.  The dish has been living by my sink to leave my ring(s) in when I wash my face or hands.  And the bracelet?  It goes with everything, naturally!

I strongly urge you to check out For The Makers. You can browse through their past collections (the tutorials and all are up on their website!), and subscribe to their monthly kit! I've been subscribing for over a year now, and it's one of the best decisions ever. I can't say it enough - the quality of the supplies they source is second to none.

Check out For The Makers and let me know what you think! What was your favorite project from the Makena Collection?
