My July Birchbox ~ Unwrapped

Hi lovelies!  Today I'm sharing my July Birchbox with you.  This month's box was specially curated with Women's Health Magazine, and as an added bonus, every box included a one year subscription to Women's Health!  The theme was to Power Up your month, and each product is chosen with the intent to energize your routine.  If you're not familiar, subscribe to Birchbox for only $10 a month and get handpicked beauty and lifestyle samples delivered to your door free! {Click to see what I got!}

Beauty Protector | Protect & Treat Mask
I absolutely LOVE that Birchbox is finally increasing its sample sizes so you can try each product more than once.  With my super long + thick hair, one of these samples would barely cover one use.  I'm so stoked that I can at least try it twice now!  Thanks for listening, Birchbox! Mmmmmwah!

Anyways, this argan oil treatment mask for your hair promises to restore strength and megashine.  I applied about 2/3 of the jar (so I get to use it 3 times, yay!) to my wet hair after I squeezed out the excess water, and then left it on for a little longer than the recommended up to 20 minutes while I did some chores, got back in the shower and rinsed it away.  My hair was much softer and hydrated, and my ends were not their usual frizzed and fried self.  Plus I swear it smells like cotton candy.

Benefit Cosmetics | Posiebalm
This tinted balm is absolutely adorable with it's wash of sheer, perfect posie pink.  It's made with mango butter balm to hydrate your lips too!  It feels great going on and provides just a hint of color.  I like layering it over my Benetint to up the color game a bit and also make the color last longer.

Naobay | Body Radiance Lotion
This Spanish lotion hydrates and softens skin naturally using olive and avocado oils as well as shea butter and aloe vera.  But its the intoxicatingly fresh yet subtle citrus scent that makes me love this lotion even more.  Naobay products are made in Spain using natural and certified organic ingredients.  Its products are paraben-free and not tested on animals.

Real Chemistry | Luminous 3-Minute Peel
This acid-free peel promises to gently exfoliate for instantly softer, smoother, brighter skin in just 3 minutes!  I applied it to clean, dry skin with dry hands and waited 30 seconds before massaging it in for a few minutes and washing it off with a gentle cleanser.  My skin felt so smooth and soft.  The peel is such a gentle exfoliant.  The time spent waiting allows the product to dry and form a sort of film almost - think a thinner version of dried glue.  When you rub it in circular motions, this 'film' forms little nodules that in turn are gently scrubbing your skin.  There's no harsh pieces in here!

Ruffian | The Rapture Collection - Ambrosia
Again, Birchbox included a foil packet as a little extra, not counting/listing it as a sample.  #Love.

Birchbox emailed subscribers with the option to choose one of the three colors in this collection, or to not choose and instead be surprised.  I love this purply chrome hue and it really goes on perfectly in just one coat.  I ended up applying two out of habit, but it was perfect with just one.  Such a win!  I'll be removing it with the included towelette remover in a couple days.

So that was my July Birchbox.  What was in yours?

xo
