Neon Pops

Hey lovelies!  I thought I'd share my outfit from the other day with you :)  I wish I had accessorized more, but I didn't :(
I love this because it's a white outfit with pops of neon!  LOVE!
Sunnies: Target, Shirt & Shorts: Walmart, Scarf: NY & Company, Clutch: Ava Rose, Wedges: Michael Kors via TJ Maxx
These wedges are amazing.  They are suede straps, and the color seriously just blends in to my skin tone.  Isn't it ridiculous??  Plus, they were on clearance at TJ Maxx for $39.  I almost peed.  The original price was like $140 or something.  IN-SANE.

Have a great weekend lovelies!!

Tuesday's Tips: Cold Water Bottle and How to Remove Sticker Residue

Hey lovelies!!  I am starting a new series with some of my tips that I thought weren't so super duper, but apparently some people think they are pretty rad!  So please let me know if this is a feature you would like to see more of!
I'm pretty obsessive about recycling and upcycling whenever possible.  I drink alot of vodka from time to time, and was inspired by a swanky little restaurant in Denver who uses their empty liquor bottles for water bottles they bring to your table.  I washed my empty in the dishwasher, and used some adhesive remover (more on that below!) to remove the rest of the label.  I keep the bottle in the fridge, filled with water.  This way I always have super duper cold water on hand, and when I give guests a glass of water, they *always* ask how I got my water so cold!  I mean, you could use ice, but everybody does that.  I like this way of sprucing up my plain tap water :)

I buy alot of my shoes at TJ Maxx.  You seriously can't go wrong for the price, it's hit and miss though, like everything there.  Anyhow....I *hate* those friggen stickers they put inside that NEVER peel off nicely.  Grrrr.  I used to just peel them off as best I could and then hope the rest wears off.  But it just got yucky instead.  So here's what to do.
Peel off as much of the sticker as you can, leaving just the residue.
This stuff is beyond genius.  If you don't have it, go get it!  It has a little sponge applicator and then the scrape-y cap.  So using the sponge, press a little and rub the liquid into the residue.  The majority of it should come off this way.  Then after letting it sit for about 20 seconds, put the scraper cap on and use it to scrape off the rest of the residue.  Repeat if necessary.
And there ya go!  It took about 2-3 minutes to get it all off, and it looks like it was never there!
So what do you think of these tips?  Do you have any tips to share?  Please email them to me and I'll include them next week!

Kids Fashion Haul at Target

Hi lovelies!  Here's my *first* shopping haul video!!  This one is for kids' fashion and how I save a ton of money on their clothes...  Please let me know what y'all think, if you would like to see more haul videos, if me pushing up my glasses annoys you, anything.  PS: JT makes several video hijacking appearances.  Be forewarned.

DIY: 'Studded' Embroidery Floss Wrapped Earrings

Happy Monday lovelies!  I debuted these earrings in an outfit post last week here, and promised the DIY :)   Here's what you'll need:
Knot the thread onto the hoop and secure with clear nail polish.  Then begin wrapping around.  I wrapped 8 times then added a bead.  However, I could have spaced them out a little more.  To add a bead, simply thread the bead onto the floss and hold it in place on the earring while continuing to wrap the thread around.  Keep going the whole way around, then knot the thread on when done, securing with clear nail polish.

I really like how these turned out, and from a distance, they look as though they are studded.  I love this design, and haven't seen anything like it anywhere yet, have you?  If you decide to make these, please send me a pic!!

Neon + Neutral

Hello and Happy Friday, lovelies!!!  Today's post is for the Bloggers Do It Better June outfit challenge to wear neons and neutrals. I had this super cute outfit planned out, but I got ready for the pool with the kids and realized hey!  I'm wearing neon and neutral!  So my Bella played photographer for me.  I'm wearing my periwinkle ikat bikini from Target with my OP neon yellow cheetah print burnout coverup from Walmart.  I'm going with the my skin is neutral philosophy here :)
 p

What do you think of my pool-going look?

I'm also linking up to Fashion Friday :)
