DIY ~ Coachella Flower Bracelet

Hi lovelies!  Ahhh spring is upon us and that can only mean one thing... music festivals!  Now while I am not into those (I'm the crazy punk girl that only does small venue shows), I know many of you are.  And with Coachella this weekend (I'm actually wishing I could go, only because the Descendents are playing and they are my fave band and put on a killer show!), I wanted to give you a quick and cute DIY!  This will go super cute with your flower crown, and I've got another DIY for you this afternoon that will go with it too!  {Click to read more and get the how-to!}

You'll need:

  • Ribbon or some sort of base for your bracelet (I used the same woven cotton trim used for making belts from Joann's that I used for my DIY Nate Berkus inspired nautical candle holder)
  • Small fake flowers (dollar store!)
  • 2 ribbon clamp ends
  • 2 small jump rings
  • A closure
  • E-6000 glue (not pictured)
  • Scissors (not pictured)
  • Jewelry pliers (not pictured)

Cut your length of trim to about 6-7" and apply a tiny bit of glue to the end before crimping down the ribbon clamp with your pliers.

Attach a jump ring to each end, and the appropriate closure as well.  Now we are ready to decorate it!

Pull a bunch of flower blooms off of the stems (they should pop right off!)

Trim the ends off so you have a flat underside surface to glue down.

Apply a dollop of E-6000 glue to each and place firmly on the bracelet.

Add as many as you'd like!  I put a book on top and let it sit overnight to ensure that they were all firmly attached.  Now throw it on and have fun at the festival!

  1. This is really pretty and easy to do. I can see this for grownups but also as a special piece for an older child.
