My October Beauty Box 5 ~ Unwrapped + A Fun Mani!

Hi lovelies!  Today I'm sharing my October Beauty Box 5 with you.  Not familiar? Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers 5 cosmetic samples to your door for only $12 a month. {Click to see what I got, plus check out a fun mani I did using the nail polish!}

Extend Your Beauty | Cosmetic Tool
I've never seen or heard of this before, but it's to help you scrape those last bits of cream out of jars!  It's basically a beauty spatula - no more trying to get that last bit of pricey eye cream out of the jar, this easily lets you get the little bits under the little lip of the jar, as well as from the sides, etc.  So brilliant! {Retail Value ~ $5.49}

Bellapierre Cosmetics | Cheek and Lip Stain in Pink
I'm such a huge fan of double duty products.  I have plenty of cherry red ones, but this pink is unlike those.  It's such a fun, girly hue and I love the look it gives both my lips and cheeks!

Tip: Layer this under a similar-hued lipstick to help it last extra long!  Plus, as the lipstick fades it's not as noticeable since you have this underneath!  {Retail Value ~ $11.35}

Chapstick | Hydration Lock
I am of the type that can never have too many lip balms, and Chapstick has always been a go-to for me. I love this double-ended balm that promises to protect, soothe and smooth your pout.  It keeps my lips well-hydrated plus it gives them a really nice subtle sheen. {Retail Value ~ $2.99}

Lashem | Picture Perfect
This serum promises to reduce fine lines and give a gorgeous glow.  I've been putting it on the past few days after I wash my face, but haven't noticed any results yet.  But, this works as a great primer for makeup as well!

Nanacoco | Nail Polish in Mermaid Lake
I looooove this color.  I'm such a huge fan of mermaid-y colors like this, so I had to put it on immediately.  I decided to do a fun, negative space mani! {Retail Value ~ $3.95}

Grab some reinforcement labels from your office supply store.  They're super cheap and are PERFECT for a negative space half moon mani.  Try to center each circle on the base of your nail and firmly press them down on your nail.

Paint above the label on each nail. I used two coats here.  Let the polish sit maybe a minute, then use tweezers to pull each sticker off.  You don't want the polish to dry first, you risk losing those clean lines!  Follow up with a top coat and you're good to go!

I love this color, and it was perfect for a fun negative space mani too!

So that's my October Beauty Box 5!  I'm coming up with a total box value of $25.12, which is more than double the $12 cost!  Also, 3 products were full sized this month, and the other 2 were big, deluxe samples too.  What did you like most from this month's box?
