Easy DIY Nautical Tray

Hi lovelies!  I've got a really easy DIY to share today.  I've been needing a cute tray to keep on my bench / coffee table, and everything I've found seems to overwhelm it.  This was the perfect solution!  {Click for the how-to!}

While I was perusing the picture frames at Ikea recently, I came across this Degeron frame and loved how its shape (the picture part and backing are about an inch down; the sides come up much higher) as well as the fact that it didn't use a glass plate, instead it's plastic yet durable.  For only $10, I knew it would be perfect!  I added a fun anchor watercolor print from Pearls and Pastries shop and that was it!  {Tip: the plastic 'glass' has a thin film on both sides - make sure to remove it when assembling your picture/tray!}

It perfectly fits my remotes and a fun candle.  The best part is that it doesn't overwhelm the space and complements it perfectly.

So there's a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to corral those remotes and have a little bit of whimsy added to your living space!

  1. What a cool idea. And useful. My four remotes float all over the place.
