SnS Loves Getting Groceries Delivered With #WalmartToGo #sp

Hi lovelies!  Today I'm talking to you about a new service from Walmart.  It's just recently launched here in the Denver area and soon will be spreading (if it already hasn't!)  It's called Walmart To Go and it's the most life-changing service ever.  As a single mom of two (older-ish) kiddos that also works full time, grocery shopping is such a dreaded chore.  Even the kids hate it.  I always find that no matter what's on my shopping list, I walk out spending at least $50 on items that weren't on it.  It's so hard to stick to a budget and not buy all the junk food in sight sometimes.

Enter Walmart To Go .  You go online, quickly register and pick a delivery date.  I go through my kitchen and put together a list of what I'll need for the week, search for the items online, and can either pick up my groceries at the store the next day (all picked, bagged, and brought out to my car) for no additional charge, or have them delivered for only $5-7.  The website makes navigation super easy, and I can ensure I won't be overspending and buying junk I don't need.  It's the easiest way to stick to my budget and I don't have to deal with all the hassles of going to the grocery store.

The delivery truck is certainly not what I expected; it has separate climate controlled sections for the different groceries.

The delivery man pulls the bins containing my groceries from the different compartments.

And brings them to my door!  No tipping allowed, either!

I tried to order a range of products to see in what condition they'd arrive.  I spent about $65 and I picked fresh meats, produce, and ice cream, as well as some pantry items.  I tried to hide the lemon Oreos, but you can clearly see them.  Don't judge; they are incredible.

All the produce arrived in peak freshness and was still cold!

The ice cream still had frost on it and was frozen solid.

The meats were super fresh, and that night I dined on filet mignon, asparagus and potatoes.  And it was friggen delicious!

So, I'm completely in love with this new delivery service from Walmart, and I will absolutely be using it a lot going forward, too.  But it's not just groceries, you can order anything from the store, too!

The amount of time this saves me is priceless.  It takes about 10-15 minutes for me to order online, compared to a good hour of complaining and whining and overspending (and losing my sanity!) I endure while hauling the kiddos to the store.

If you're in the Denver area, I encourage you to try it out as soon as possible.  It could change your life like its changed mine!
